Microsoft Edge Dev Updates

In an update to Microsoft Edge Dev, version 90, will not allow users to set their own keyboard shortcuts. Specifically, the ability is limited to the DevTools menu of the browser. Also, the context menus for PDFs and some stability issues have been fixed.

Microsoft Edge, following Google Chrome, is now based on Chromium and the functionality of the developer tools are very similar.

The newest MS Edge Dev build is no becoming available on the Dev channel and within the DevTools menu. Here users will be able to customize the browser’s keyboard shortcuts. To reach this area of the browser’s options user will have to navigate to open DevTools and then find “settings” in the top left of the window.

The feature is expected to matriculate to a stable version of Microsoft Edge soon, although all Edge users are encouraged to try out the new feature by downloading the latest Microsoft Edge Dev build.
